This is probably a pretty stupid question, but I'm a worrier, so I just need to ask. Last night my mom came over and one of her fake nails fell off. She put it on the coffee table, and when we weren't looking, Miles must have gotten it and (I fear) eaten it. We looked everywhere for it. I thought he might have just chewed on it for a while and left it someplace, but it's nowhere to be found. It's been 12 hours now, and he hasn't thrown anything up, he pooped like normal this morning, and he's acting like normal. Is this something I should be worried about? How long until he would "pass" it if he swallowed it?
