I have a 5 month old that gives me a fit when grooming even though we brush twice a day. I found that if I put her on the grooming table, she is much calmer. It is not her normal play area and must let her know I mean business. When I am lazy and don't want to hike upstairs to the table, I give her a treat or something to distract her. That usually works well. Now I need to find a way to clip nails and trim hair, she will not let me do that anywhere.
