I agree also, and grooming at the same time everyday (more or less) lets it become something they expect. Every morning I put Daisy beside the bathroom sink, wash her face with a washcloth, comb her and kiss her up. She doesn't mind this at all, but tucks her tail and goes under the bed when I get out her shampoo and a towel
