At the times my babies were spayed and neutered, their teeth were cleaned. They get checked every time they go to the vet. They both had their teeth cleaned again in Feb. I got a call from the vet while Rebel was still "out".

He told me that he had to pull 9 of Reb's permanent teeth. It's a long story, but he has a genetic defect in his teeth that means he has very soft, or no enamel at all on his teeth.

My baby is only 2 years old! I have to be very careful with his teeth now. He HATES having them brushed, but I try to brush them regularly.

Please keep a vigilant eye on the condition of your baby's teeth. I feel so sorry for Rebel now and worry constantly about him losing more.
