Ella has recently (within the last week) started digging at the walls in our entry. She's gotten through the plaster in two places. The first time, we had been gone for 12+ hours, so I thought she and Jack just got bored. But then she's done it in other places when we've only left her for a 2-3 hours.
Does anyone have any ideas for deterring wall scratching? Bitter apple/clear deoderant don't seem like they would do very much because she isn't biting the walls (I know this because I checked out her nails and found plaster
). We've been taking her for a 15-20 minute walk most nights, and it has helped--but it hasn't stopped it.
