Macy used to take the brush and run off with it. She hid it several times, and gnawed off part of the handle too. she hated it!
Shes pretty good now though. She sees me with the brush and jumps in my lap and closes her eyes, because she knows the conditioner spray is coming!
We start off with a comb for tangles. Then brush. Lots and lots of love and reinforcement helped. In the beginning, when she would sit still for me for even 30 seconds, i would give her a treat and some love. Now all she wants is the love!
Now, if i could just find the secret to getting my toddler to let me brush HER hair without throwing a fit!
