My other concern too is the constant barking. From my experience with the dogs I have had, I know puppies get lonely and they whine and bark. And I know it's also very normal for any dog to bark. But what bothers me about it is that it it outside barking all night. Their backyard is right by my bedroom window and my son's. It was very loud and none of us got much sleep. My son got home from school and is actually napping right now because he was kept up a lot of the night also. I understand the nature of dogs, but I feel I should also be able to sleep in a quiet environment at night. I want to go over and talk to her and ask if she could at least keep the dog inside at night. I will wait until tomorrow though and see if she got any hints from the complaint I filed with the police station. |
You could certainly talk with her if you feel comfortable with doing that. I think going directly to the source could be a good step. The worst that could happen is she ignores you. I know if it were me I would much more appreciate someone approaching me first if there was an issue. If she ignores you and it persists I would continue to call the police. Is there a noice ordinance where you live? If there is and it continues to happen then there is the law to back you up. Your right, your family shouldn't be loosing sleep so I hope there is a solution soon.
