Mine used to do that if they went too long without eating. now i give them a bite (maybe a teaspoon) of canned dog food in the morning just to get them over the hump and then they eat kibble the rest of the day. No more problems for them. My Kissy was the worst and if her tummy growled, she thought she was sick and WOULDN'T eat. I would give her a little peanut butter in the roof of her mouth and it would get her licking and get the hunger juices flowing again and then she would eat. Fortunately, we haven't had to do that in a long time.
