We have indoor dogs and an outdoor dog. We live on 40 acres of land and our GS stays outside and she wouldn't have it any other way. She doesn't want to come in the house, she's not chained or caged, and she stays on our property. She knows where home is and where she's loved. She knows this is as much her home as it is ours. To keep her inside would be torture for her and we love her enough to let her be outside where she wants to be. I didn't mean to insinuate that an owner loves their dog any less, I never said that.
I know there are outside dogs but here where I live in New York the weather gets down right freezing so NO I wouldn't let my dog be outside all the time.
