I have a question. Let me start by saying I dont know Glenda, dont care who she is, and got my yorkie from a "breeder" but my question is in regards to breeders selling puppies to a petstore.
I thought the problem that people are having with petstores is that they get their dogs from puppy mills a lot, instead of from reputable breeders.
So if a reputable breeder decided to sell through a pet store for more exposure (say a newer breeder, one that wasnt necessarily in it for a show quality puppy, etc) would that be bad? Meaning the puppy was well taken care of, well bred, loved and not let go too young before going to a pet store, and then adopted to a nice family (who was well screened by the said petstore of coarse)?
Please help me understand. I know for some common folk they may not know how to find a breeder, may immediately go to a petstore (none i can think of in my state that even sell dogs but Im just using as example).
dont hate me

and dont whip me too hard for trying to understand.
