No, the recovery time was no shorter, and she's so little that she was really kind of pitiful for 3 days, then started to come around. However, with these internal stitches it is healing so that you can hardly tell she was ever cut, but then again Mika had the traditional way and her belly is as smooth and flawless as a baby too.

Now they have this new laser way of doing it, but that was going to cost 380.00, but from the sounds of it, the dog comes out like a whiz, so might be worth it if one can afford it.

all three of mine had the internal stiches also. they were back to their bouncy selves the next day. it was hard to keep them to stay still..lol
