I bought Mika admittedly from a pet store, but got her when she was teeny tiny. She has never been a cuddler, except when I let HER come to ME when SHE is ready. She runs when you try to pet her or pick her up, like she has been abused. She was cuddly as a very young youngster, but when she came into her own, she became an indepedent girl. WHen I am cuddling with Maya, sometimes she looks on wistfully, and I offer her love and she runs.
I don't have an answer for you, but you must feel awfully dejected.
