I'm just getting home from work and seeing this. I am the office manager of an elementary school and just wanted to help reassure you that hearing of your children's school being on a lock down is actually good news. I can say from over 20 years experience, our children's safety is one of the schools top priority concerns. Children are in school daily to learn but they also need to be safe and parents need to feel that they are safe during the day while in school. As far as I know all schools have in effect a safe school plan which are there for the protection of the children. I am glad to hear that your kids are home safe n sound
