We have a 7 yr old poodle and a 12 week old yorkie and they get along great now. Our poodle was raised with alot of grandchildren around.....we have 15 grandchildren...so she had to learn to play nice. I think it is really how the dog is raised/handled and not so much the breed. My son has a miniature dashund, a huge rotweiler (sp), and a english bulldog and they all love one another.
