I have three chihuahuas and they are barkers. they usually make up with one person but ours decided to be me and my hubbys best friend. they growl at people that come to visit. they want on your lap everytime you set down. and they want under the covers if they sleep in your bed. yorkies and them get along fine at least mine do. Good luck on your choice. I dont know where you live but they sell for 300-450 here.
