It could be a bunch of different things I went through this with Milo Firtst they thought Kennel Cough so we went through meds for this, then the Vet thought Collapsing Trachia and just as they were ready to do a scope the he started doing it while I was driving by the Vets I rushed him inside and it turns out it was reverse sneezing he only does this in the fall so we are thinking it is a slight allergy. So every fall he gets some cough medicine only to sooth his throught. If you can take video of the episode that will help your vet determine better what it is. Also remember that you are your pets voice only you can speak for them if the meds dont help and you feel it is more you have every right to seek a second opinion, and never hesitate to call your Vet again an say that the meds are not working and you would like them to look again. |
