 Spay while in heat?
Hi! My Vegas is about 9 1/2 months old and came into heat over the weekend. I've never had a female dog, always males, so all of this is new to me. Can you get them spayed while they are in heat or is it better to wait? I called my vet yesterday & she said yes they can go ahead & spay her but just to make sure no male dogs could get to her. I did a search on here to read up about it and there were suggestions of waiting 2 weeks afterwards. Thanks for any info or experiences you can share with me! |
