I don't feel like the bells are too big... they aren't too loud... I'm not really sure what it is. Last night we had people over for a fundraising meeting (and needed the chairs which were doing the blocking), so I decided I'd see how Layla would do having free run of the kitchen (with the fabulous potty rug... I mean area rug). I watched her the whole time and if I saw her sniffing at the rug I would make her get off it. Anyways, I went to bed and had her in my room. I was exhausted but she kept wanting to go in and out so I just left the door open a crack - forgetting I hadn't blocked off the kitchen. I woke up this morning to see a fresh pee spot and a little pile of poop ON HER PAD!!! Not on the area rug!!! So that was a huge step
I did block the kitchen off again for today while I'm at work.
