We had some flea problems as well not too long ago. we tried the flea shampoo, it would kill a few of them but it seemed to dry him out, he didnt like it very much at all, it would also make him sneeze. I think it was the smell. but we got some advice to use dawn dishwashing detergent. and it does great. After just a few washes, the fleas were gone. we also made sure we sprayed the house. and washed almost everything. Good luck.
