He goes outside now? At 15 months it'll be a bit difficult to change that behavior. Two of mine are outdoor trained...the biewers are trained to pads. I can't break them of those...and wish I could. Opposite of your problem.

You could try training him like puppies are trained to pads. Confine him in a small area or x pen...covered in pee pads. Eventually removing one pad at a time..until there is only one.

If he is housebroken...he will "hold" it for as long as possible. My Ramsey will not go inside anywhere ever. I think she would burst first.

Realize that by using pads...if he cocks his leg to pee...eventually he may also cock his leg to use that pad. Meaning he doesn't necessarily hit the pad...some people place a weighted bottle in the center as an aiming device.
