I am so sorry to hear about all you and your furbaby have been through. I have not experienced anything quite this tramatic with Maddie so I can;t say I know what you are going through, but you sound like an amazing mommy to your Maggie and I am glad she is better. That is what you need to focus on, easier said than done...i know
Enjoy your little girl and be thankful you can. It is because you were so quick to act with the right response she is alive. I can only hope that in such an emergency I would be able to do the same and not panic!
