Ruby was from a commercial kennel or puppy mill and I had no idea at the time. Reno, my second yorkie came from reputable exhibitor/breeder as will any future yorkies, unless they are a rescue.
To Chandra - IDK what happens to all of the puppies in pet stores that get to old to sell, but I do know that many of them are sold at breeders auctions.
