Don't know if you're asking because you're considering a pet store, but if you are, please don't be tempted to buy from a pet store.
I've see so many CUTE puppies in pet stores and of course they are very tempting. You want to save them from that little box. But trust me it is so much better when you find a nice breeder and get to go to the home, watch the puppy interact with it's parents and siblings, take your pick of puppy, etc. Plus the little boy I saw in a local pet store was $2500. My female from the breeder is $1500.
