Default Tough financial times

This is a question I'm sure, a few of us are pondering:
Do I take my dogs to a vet I have a standing relationship with or to a vet who charges a lot less for the same service? Money is tight these days and if you have more than one dog it adds up quickly. Up until now I've gone to a vet I really like and who I'd called away from his dinner table when I had an emergency. One of my dogs had been hit by a car. He charges between $20,-and $40 more per dog for the upcoming spring vacs that another vet in my area. Do I go back because I feel obligated or save money and start over? What's your take on this?
