Everthing is totally normal and right on time! Isn't it soooooo exciting!?! I always feel excited when they first open their eyes....kind of like when a child looses their first tooth. I was going to mention not to think the pup is blind, but someone beat me to it. If you look in the pups ears, you will see that they are starting to open up also. You will probably have to start "puppy rolling" very soon. You will find your pup stranded on her back, crying and unable to turn back over by herself. Get pictures, pictures, pictures! At 5 weeks you will start noticing the pup changing quite a bit. After that, it is day by day changes! Have fun, the time goes by so quickly!!!! |
