Morning
I'm trying to keep Heidi looking halfway decent, with the weather changes and so forth. I don't have a clipper set, but I have a ruler and scissors and nail clippers. I measure 2" from her backbone.
No matter how short I keep her nails or her hair, she still gets her nails caught in her hair. She has mainly dark nails; I am very careful when I trim them and her coat.
I came in a few minutes ago to tell her goodbye before work, and she had her nails caught again. The hair gets twisted around them too, especially the back ones, when she scratches.
I worry that this will happen when no one's home, and she'll be stuck for a long time. So far that hasn't been the case, but there's always a first time.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Theresa
