I have had yorkies since 1984 and for a time bred them. There really is no such yorkie as a teacup or mini. Some are very little and I have one now that weighs about 3lbs. and would not want one any smaller. Big or little they can and do live a long, long life. Right now I have two yorkies left from my original nine and they are 16 years old and still going. They no longer have any teeth, can only see shadows and have to be feed food that we process to a mush, but still give us plenty of love. So to answer your question, yorkies live a long and loving life and in my opinion, are the best.
