I'm not sure that anyone means all that much harm in any of it. Roxie is 5 lbs. and when my son and I see another yorkie he automaticly points it out. Sometimes I'm the one that says it's a little bigger or smaller then Roxie, not to the owner just between my son and I. I don't mean any harm by it at all for I love all of them and think it would be wonderful to have a yorkie that's of larger size. I just wouldn't want anything smaller then Roxie because personally when she was a puppy and had a few health issues it was very nerve wracking for me. Plus at 5 lbs. I have a hard time seeing her when she's right at my heels. I'll turn circles looking for her and she's right there all of the time lol! Just wanted to point out that I love them all and would never mean any harm by noticing that one was larger or smaller either way. It's all in the genes and no big deal to me. But I do agree that comments like Rat and other names are disrespectful and mean. Those are the types of things that are upsetting. I've had people say that about Roxie. I have to ignore it because it's a family member that says it and while he means no harm it's just not a nice thing to say. The main thing is that my kids, hubby and I all love her so much it makes her a very big dog being so full of all that love. |
