my bentley does this too lol. the only way i can get him to NOT inhale his food is to feed him a piece at a time and only praise him when he CHEWS it
i have even purchased larger size kibble just for him and he will still swallow that whole unless i hand feed it. he loves eating!
bree on the other hand is such a dainty eater! it takes her forever to eat because she grabs a piece, runs away from her dish, chews it and runs back for another
