I just read a very good article the other day, wish I remembered where it was. Although, I'm thinking it was in my dog fancy magazine.? Anyway it was talking about how although, yorkies should be no more than 7 lbs, that 5-7 is the healthiest weights, and therefore, those should be the ones that are sold for more. They said if a breeder is selling a small yorkie for more than the 5-7 lb range to run as fast as you can. A lot of times the smaller ones do have more problems, and are more apt to get stepped on etc. I have to agree with a lot of the other people, the little girl is adorable, but, I would never pay that much for a yorkie as just a pet. To me it would be more important to sell for less to someone that would love her and take good care of her.
