I have had three chihuahuas since the time I was a very little girl. They are long-lived little dogs. If you don't already know the negatives, then you have not done the research that you should have done. Are you prepared to make up to and perhaps longer than a 20 year commitment to a chihuahua as well as a yorkie? They do require a lot of attention as do yorkies. Have you researched their health problems? They can be noisy, too. In general, most chihuahuas like the sound of their own voices!
