Honestly, I don't know what would be a good ideal weight for them to have their rabies shot. The reason why I'm holding off on the rabies shot for Orion is because he now weighs only 2.2 lbs at 6 months. In addition, the breeder recommended me to hold off on giving the rabies until he's a little older. As for my other furbutt, Cassi, got her rabies shot when she was 28 weeks, weighing 2.9 lbs. She was fine and had no adverse reactions.
