When Orion first arrived here, his hair was long and it kept on getting tangled. I brushed it everyday and almost twice a day and it still got tangled. Finally I took out the scissors and gave him a trim, what a difference!! No more tangles to brush out.
His hair is slightly longer than the pic that you posted of the yorkie you found in google. As for Cassi, I just gaver her a puppy cut last week and used a buzzer. She looks exactly like the picture from google. I would say, definitely go with the puppy cut and see how you like it. If you don't like it you can always have him grow it out.
