I feed my puppy Blue Buffalo chicken & brown rice. We got it from Petsmart for about $15 for a 6 lb. bag. We've had her for about 2 1/2 weeks and she's barely made a dent in the bag. So when you think about the small amount they actually eat per day - going with a more expensive brand doesn't seem to hurt the wallet with this breed. I was going to feed her Wellness but they don't have it at our Petsmart here. We've been very happy with Blue Buffalo so far and she likes it very much, even the LifeSource bits.
