it is amazing what will set them off, we have had a baby gate that we often put up that leads to the kitchen and bedrooms, it has always been there since we have had him. I moved it out of the way (as I often do when they can roam the house) and Samson went nuts. I just felt bad it was his pee pad because I was afraid he wouldn't use it because it frightened him.
