 Honey, is it really safe?
I see honey recommended in a lot of threads and it reminded me of something I read when I was pregnant. Honey IS NOT SAFE for children under 12 months. There is a risk of infant botulism. Even from pasteurized honey. So my question is: Is honey safe for puppies? Are dogs in general safe from the botulism spores in honey? Like with humans, after a certain age is honey OK? |
