 house breaking my puppy
I too am having serious issues house breaking my Cookie. I have had her about 2 months and we are having problems. Everytime I think we are getting somewhere it back fires. I have 2 other dogs who are house broke and I thought it wouldn't be that difficult to train her. I have her in a crate and have a seperator in it for training purposes but she seems to potty in it anyway. Except at night, we take her out on a regular basis, unless she makes noise at night! I have thought about using the puppy pads but I have a very hyper active 4 year old who I know will not leave them where they belong. I hate to leave the poor baby in the kennel all of the time but that is how I trained my other dogs and it just doesn't seem to be working with her. I just don't think I can bring myself to let her pee and poo in the house. |
