Default Special Needs Fella

I'm new here, so forgive me if this in inappropriate. My daughter just sent me the article below, and I'm trying to find help for this little guy. If you have any advice for me, please let me know, or if you know someone, please proceed.
Thanks you so much!
I have a Special Needs dog in great need of a loving home. His name is Rambo and he is a full size (12 - 13 pounds) 11 year old (give or take) Yorkshire Terrier. He is not a teacup size. He has recently gone blind and deaf. I have other dogs that like to play and he no longer wants to play. I have small children that want to "tote" him around and he does not want to be "toted". He cannot be left in the yard during the day with the other dogs for various reasons. One being he is subject to attack by the other dog who thinks she is playing around. Second is that he can't find his way back to the dog house on the porch. Sad, Sad, Sad little man. He is now stuck in a caged area for the daytime while I am at work. I am looking for one last alternative for Rambo. He is lovable, great lapdog. He is potty trained, but needs taken out for walks. I am looking for someone that may be retired and the have the time to take him out for walks (instead of putting him in the yard so I can still manage my family). If there is anyone out there that can offer this guy a better way of life, I would love to find you. He is not on any medications (with the exception of a steriod antibiotic ointment for his eye). He is up to date on all shots. I will try to get a picture tonight if that is important. He is a calico color or mostly brown, tan, and small amounts of black.
Thanks, Jill
