Lots of information available about these problems. Whether you decide to do the rabies vaccination or not, I most definitely would never give it to a young developing puppy. Also, don't forget that the same amount of vaccine serum is given to a Yorkie as they give the same amount to a Great Dane or St. Bernard -- doesn't make a lot of sense. I hope you find these two links helpful but I do recommend getting one of the many books on the subject.
