My 12 week old sleeps with me, either in his kennel or next to my side. When I first got him, a bought a mattress cover in case he had an accident, because I have been through this two time before. When he had his first couple of accidents I put him into the kennel, and just closed the door, did not lock it. Now he has gotten the hang of it and when we wake up, which mind you is still at the butt-crack of dawn, we go to the potty pad first thing and he pees. Have only had him since Valentines day, but he seems to be getting the hang of it. Also, like the others said, I keep him up playing for at least 2 hours before I go to bed. Good luck! |
