I also use a #30 or #40 to shave the v-pad on the feet. I use the #40 under my snap on combs. The #10 or #15 is for the ear tips and potty area and if you like to shave between the eyes/bridge of nose. Some people also use the #40 for ear tips, but I like them a little longer on Harley (I use a 10 or 15 on him). A #7F blade is about the length used on Schnauzer's backs if they gives you an idea of how short it is.
