I prefer herbal remedies since I don't like to use chemicals on Cash. I used to put eucalyptus oil in his shampoo until I found a good herbal shampoo in the shop. Now, I just mix some of the oil with water and spray in around the room. This makes all the filthy fleas flee!! (Hehe, can you tell I am studying to be a writer?)
I used Frontline and other products when he was younger, but I hate the sticky residue.
