I highly reccomend "puppy kindergarden" if you can find a positive one (clicker method). I learned so much about how to get the behavior I want and discourage (positively) the ones I don't. My girl is by no means perfect, but I learned so much about how to get "what I want" out of her. My teacher always said to get out the newspaper, roll it up, and firmly swat the trainer and say "bad trainer" because it's usually something you do. Seriously though, she has come so far. |
