If she does not get into things to get it then it really is not her fault if it is on the floor. My babies think anything on the floor is fair game. Mine do not seek but someone will always drop paper, tissue, napkins, or paper towels on the floor and they will get to them before we do. There will be a mess over the WHOLE house from one stinking napkin! I do not get angry I just pick it up and grumble under my breath. I would never spank my girls for any reason. I have tapped them on their nose lightly with my finger so they knew I was not happy with them but never enough to hurt them. All I really have to do it put my finger on their nose and have a stern mad voice and they know. Right now our issue is they keep finding the baby's binkys and they chew them up. Poor baby is almost out now...lol. And they know they are not supposed to have them. If they see me come in the room when they have one...the run off with it under the couch. It is hard to not laugh though when they take off with it and it is their mouth and it looks like they are using the binky. As far as my hubby goes...I yell at him if he just talks to them in the wrong tone of voice. If he spanked them...he would be in the doghouse...lol.
