When I stated I looked at the Rescue section everyday I was offering a compliment to the people who do the rescues. Trust me I hold those people in the highest regards.
I agree children should be taught to how to treat an aminal with respect. For those of you who have children and have done so that is wonderful and I am being sincere with that compliment.

Hay its ok! I just get irritated with the "dont have children around small dogs" comments, because i get it all the time... So i always have to pull and defend my children. Ya know?
