Oh my gosh!
Finnigan does the exact same thing!! He'd try to bury it in his bed at first, then we'd find the toy stuck behind pillows on the couch or he'd try to bury it under our legs...I think its that their instinct to bury things is so strong. It used to be so cute, but now its just annoying. Its evolved to him staring at us with this toy in his mouth because he either A. wants us to run after him or B. play fetch for hours!
I have no idea how to curb this behavior because we'll ignore him, but he'll continue to do it for hours if we let him!!
