Default Home Cooking Questions

I would love to cook for Apple, as I only eat healthy foods, myself...I actually don't eat grains or sugar, and only eat organic...However, I'm afraid I wouldn't balance her diet, since I'm not a dog nutritionist...Is anyone here really up on a balanced home cooked day of food for a yorkie...I have already given her boiled free range chicken (about a tablespoon at a time) and organic spinich (raw - a few leaves), and a tablespoon of kefir in the morning (she loves it, and it's probiotic) but I know she probably needs some grain like brown rice or barley or something? I just wouldn't know what proportions to give her these foods in? Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated...I work 40 hrs. a week, so baking is out of the question, at this point lol...Apple is 4 1/2 months old, and weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz...She came to me on Eukanuba and is doing well, but I'm all about getting her on home cooked healthy foods...Thanks so much for any info....Love, Maggie & Apple
