 Sorry...
So, Lola went in for Xrays on Friday, but the doctor who was treating her wasn't there. They took the pictures, but the doctor will call me (probably Monday), with the results of the xray and the culture.
It's such a mystery....she seems completely fine most of the time. Like the doctor said, its "episodic". She's been okay these past few days, but at least once/day still has a bizarre "episode". I wrote down everyone's suggestions about what to test for, so when the doctor calls I will talk to him about it. He also said something about "irritable bowel syndrome" which I guess is REALLY hard to diagnose. Although, I REALLY think it has something to do with her stomach. I was thinking maybe her episodes are from having maybe cramping, or some kind of stomach pain?? This is an absolute guess. That's why I'm going to talk to the dr about the recommendations you all had, to see if they can do more tests regarding her stomach issues.
I sincerely appreciate all your thoughts/suggestions! I was looking into pet insurance, but I'm just not quite sure if it's worth it because it doesn't even cover the things that Lola would need (luxating patellas, and all other pre-existing conditions).
When the doctor calls, I will write an update, and let you know what we have decided to do, or what the results of the other tests were. Thanks so much everyone for helping me through this!! I can't tell you how much it has helped me!! I've received so many great suggestions, and will definitely be bringing them up to the doctor. |
