There's ways to stop it but I think it's just easier. It also takes away their desire to chase a female in heat. Are your girls spayed?
As far as personalities, from what I've read and seen, males are easier to train (not ALWAYS the case but just a generalization) and tend to be more cuddly and lovey especially towards the female humans.
And the crate/introducing one room at a time sounds really good! Keep 'em confined in puppy stages as I'm sure you know from your girls.
I've also heard something that I, unfortunately, didn't get a chance to go. But apparently if you put them outside (or on the pad, whatever you're going to do) RIGHT when you first bring them home... and WAIT until they go and then praise them, they will establish right away that is where they are supposed to go from the get-go. |

I just recently brought my baby boy home. I have 2 female pomeranians and a female yorkie. He's doing really good. No markings yet. My girls excepted him and they all play together. He picked up on crate training very quickly. The breeder I bought him from had him pee pad trained. I just put a pee pad outside and he started there. A week later the pee pad disappeared. He got it and we have had very few accidents. When I bought him home we went to the area where they go outside first. I think that helped with the training, because it happened way to easy!!
