Well, with Lucky I would watch him like a hawk. I could tell when he was getting ready to pee. When he started I would say no no and pick him up and put him on the pad and say pee pee on the pad. When he did I would give him praise and a treat.It did'nt take long before he knew exactly what pee pee on the pad meant. You just have to be consistent and give lots of praise. They will get it.
